Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Elimar Reyes ("Explori," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Explori mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Who Explori is for
Explori is a tool for parents and caregivers — adults raising babies and toddlers. It is not directed to children and is not intended to be used by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. (See "Children's privacy" below.)
Information we collect
Information stored only on your device (not collected by us)
The following is saved locally on your device and is not sent to our servers or shared with third parties. We cannot see it. If you delete the App, this information is removed with it.
- Baby profile(s): name, birth date, and sex you enter.
- Your favorite activities and your activity history.
- Your app preferences (theme, language, music, and similar settings).
Information you choose to provide
- Account (optional). You can use Explori without an account. If you choose to create one, we collect your email address and a password (stored in a securely hashed form) to authenticate you. An account is offered so you can back up and restore your data in the future; you are never required to create one to use the App.
Information collected automatically
- Advertising data. The free version of the App shows occasional ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and usage information (such as advertising identifiers, IP address, device type, and ad-interaction data) to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe to Explori Plus, the subscription is processed by Google Play Billing, and entitlement is managed through RevenueCat using an anonymous identifier. We receive confirmation of the subscription and its status (such as active, canceled, or expired); we do not receive your full payment card details.
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs in the App.
How we use information
We use the limited information we receive to:
- Provide and maintain the App and its features.
- Authenticate your optional account and, in the future, back up and restore your data at your request.
- Show and measure ads in the free version (via AdMob).
- Process and validate your Explori Plus subscription (via Google Play and RevenueCat).
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.
Advertising
The free version of Explori shows ads through Google AdMob. Explori is classified as not directed to children. Depending on your device settings and region, you may see personalized or non-personalized ads. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads (reset or opt out of your advertising ID).
Subscribing to Explori Plus removes ads from the App.
Affiliate (Amazon) links
Some activities suggest toys or materials and may include links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Elimar Reyes earns from qualifying purchases. If you click an Amazon link, Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply to your activity on Amazon. We do not receive your Amazon account information or purchase details — only aggregate commission reporting from Amazon.
Third-party services
We rely on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob / Google — advertising. policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Billing — purchase processing. policies.google.com/privacy
- RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement management. revenuecat.com/privacy
- Amazon Associates — affiliate links. amazon.com/privacy
How information is stored and secured
Your on-device information stays on your device. The limited server-side information (account email) is stored on our backend hosted on Colombia-based or equivalent infrastructure, protected by industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
- On-device data is retained until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.
- If you create an account, we retain your account email until you delete your account or request deletion (see below).
Your choices and rights
- Use without an account. You can use Explori without providing any information to us.
- Delete on-device data. You can remove baby profiles and other local data within the App, or by uninstalling it.
- Delete your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated email at any time by contacting us at hello@getexplori.app, or via the data-deletion option in the App's Settings. We will delete it within a reasonable period.
- Ad choices. Adjust ad personalization in your device settings, or remove ads entirely by subscribing to Explori Plus.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as to access, correct, or delete personal information). To exercise any such right, contact us at hello@getexplori.app.
Children's privacy
Explori is intended for parents and caregivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at hello@getexplori.app and we will delete it.
International users
Explori is operated from Colombia, and information we process may be stored and handled there. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed in Colombia and other locations where our service providers operate. (Note: this App does not currently target the EEA or UK; a consent-management flow will be added before any such availability.)
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our website.
